ATLANTA – (July 3, 2024) – Pond & Company (“Pond”), an industry leader in engineering, architecture, planning and construction management services, has acquired Trident, a Baytown, Texas-based, corrosion and integrity firm and former subsidiary of Consolidated Asset Management Services (“CAMS”).

The combined expertise of Pond and Trident will result in a best-in-class Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (“PHMSA”) Mega Rule compliance practice enabling Pond to support clients more effectively and excel in larger integrity-related projects, particularly in cathodic protection, corrosion prevention, and alternating current (“AC”) mitigation. Pond and Trident share a mission to protect the long-term well-being of our clients’ assets. Trident brings an exemplary safety record, extensive training, and an experienced team to deliver safe, quality work to meet or exceed current regulatory requirements, guidelines, and industry best practices.

“The addition of the Trident team strengthens Pond’s position as the leader in integrity-related asset management, technology, and training, allowing us to provide clients with top-notch expertise and solutions,” said Bob Williams, Chief Executive Officer and President of Pond.

“Trident has built an incredible portfolio and has tremendous operational discipline throughout their organization. We are thrilled with the opportunity to bring Trident and its highly skilled employees into the Pond family to support our shared clients,” said Bryan Evans, Executive Vice President. “We have grown to admire and respect Trident and look forward to supporting this integration.”

“Trident is thrilled about this opportunity to join forces with Pond as it will allow us to provide complementary engineering and integrity-related services to our clients,” said Chase McDonald, Trident General Manager. “This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Trident, enabling us to leverage Pond’s extensive resources and expertise to better serve our clients and drive future growth.”

Pond and Trident are collaborating closely to provide a seamless transition for Trident customers and introduce the comprehensive range of services that Pond can offer. Mr. McDonald will be working in conjunction with the Pond team and will be actively involved with work in progress and growing new contracts to maintain safety, quality, and operational continuity.

The partnership reaffirms Pond’s commitment to becoming the best-in-class solution provider in PHMSA Mega Rule compliance. Pond’s strategy of technology-based project execution in the Federal, Infrastructure, Energy, and Industrial end markets has expanded the firm’s backlog, employee base, global presence, and positioned Pond as a leader in engineering and consulting services.
